Hope & Help

for grieving families

The Ladybird Care Foundation is a charity which exists to ensure that every bereaved parent or family member who wants, and needs, care from a mentor with lived experience, receives it.

Noone should have to walk this journey alone.

Personal Testimony

 Author Unknown

"A person that loses a partner is called a widow. A child that loses a parent is called an orphan.

But there is no word to describe a parent that loses a child,

because that is a loss like no other."

Changing the Conversation around Grief following the Loss of a Child

Our heart is to fund essential services to specifically support bereavement care for families and parents whose child has passed away. Due to the extremely sensitive nature of child death, the ongoing care of bereaved parents, siblings and extended family members is often overlooked, leaving families feeling isolated and left to navigate this difficult journey alone. Grief has the potential to become an insurmountable challenge if supportive counsel is not offered.
